The SBMU Akhtar Hospital visited by University of Basra Chancellor
Professor Thamar Ahmad Hamdan, the Chancellor of the University of Basra, who is also an orthopedist, visited the SBMU Akhtar Educational Hospital along with two of his colleagues on Sept, 11. In a meeting held at the office of the hospital director, the issue of exchange students was discussed. The Iraqi delegate visited different hospital wards during which they were accompanied with Professor Ali Akbar Esmaieli Jah, the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics, as well as the other hospital staff members.
The two sides expressed their willingness for having exchange student programs between the two universities.
